When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future—you’ll create it.As a Senior Network Technology Support expert, you will be responsible for the overall reliability and operations of AT&T’s Optical, IP Core, Mobility, and other advanced communication technologies.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Requires 24x7 on call from escalating organizationsWorking closely with business partners in a DevOps methodology to provide insights on the development of new platforms and services during the design/engineering phase of the projectProactive and reactive monitoring as well as mitigation (remediation) of complex technology fault conditions that span multiple production platforms and/or technology environmentsParticipates in diagnosis and troubleshooting, independent and/or collaborative (with additional support tiers and vendors) to facilitate the restoration of serviceFacilitates communication of event status, follows-up on action items to close and coordinates root cause analysis with all stakeholders across the organizationsHigh level understanding of the End-to-End service to support the underlying technologies.Partnering with upstream and downstream partners in designing and implementing custom solutions for internal and external customersWorking with hardware or software vendors, labs, engineering, product development and other internal resources in conducting change managementTechnical insight related to technology insertion, upgrades, security remediation, and capacity augmentationMonitors and maintains system configurations to achieve designed performance and reliability levels utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs)Authoring process documentation, methods, procedures, and guidelines for current network planning, capacity management and use/test casesBasic automation functions through scripting and programming to bring efficiency to support and monitoring functionsData analysis on platform and or organizational metrics using industry standard analytics and data presentation toolsPartner with Lead and/or Principal team members to develop applications, scripts, and act as system DBA (database administration), building websites, web applications, and internal messaging BOTs while maintaining other key critical software/data platformsKnowledge of and the ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data, processes or events translating business problems into insightsCollaboration sessions with vendors on product capabilities and improvementsResearch and provide insights on chronic network or technology related issuesLeadership for technology-based projects including collaborating with partnering organizations to develop business cases, defining business and/or technical requirements, and preparing detailed plans and schedulesReview and interpret technical documentation and vendor specs for inclusion/adaptation into database templates. Interacting with customers virtually or in person to outline or recommend technical solutions for their business or explaining root cause of a network eventRequired Experience:3 - 5 years’ experience.Desired Experience:Vendor certifications (Cisco or Juniper) are a plus.Desired Education:Bachelor’s Science degree in Math, Science or Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Operations or equivalent related network experience preferred.Our Senior Network Technology Support, earn between $94,300 - $141,500 annually.
