We are looking for a senior strategy and operations leader for our Adobe Express business line. This leader will be responsible for and drive the strategy, planning, and operational execution of key business and marketing initiatives. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align on strategic goals, improve operational efficiency, and promote the continuous improvement of processes and systems.This is a high-impact role for a professional with experience in project management, driving organizational change, and leading teams across multiple audience segments to deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.What you'll do
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with executive leadership to define the Express strategy based on market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs. Develop and lead the strategic roadmap, including prioritizing initiatives, resource allocation, and KPIs.
Operational Leadership:
Guide cross-functional teams to successfully complete critical initiatives, optimizing processes for speed, efficiency, and quality. Implement scalable processes, tools, and systems that enhance productivity, communication, and alignment across teams and regions.
Performance Management:
Design and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of operations, adjusting strategies as needed to meet performance goals.
Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with finance to establish and manage budgets. Drive cost-effective decision-making through data analysis, resource optimization, and budget monitoring.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Establish guidelines and effective strategies for project management, encouraging a culture driven by data and motivated to achieve desired outcomes.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of strategy, operations, and business performance professionals, fostering a collaborative environment while promoting a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and accountability within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., product marketing, GTM, sales, campaign) to ensure strategic alignment and drive shared goals.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a senior-level leader that understands the Express business and is able to connect the dots across business and marketing success drivers.
Proven experience in strategy, operations, or a related field, with a focus on software or technology.
Strong understanding of marketing to effectively develop budget strategy aligned to business priorities as well as manage budgets, drive efficiency, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter and proactive leader with a minimum of fifteen years of industry experience, along with experience building highly effective teams.
Strong EQ, influencing skills, and leadership ability, ideally including experience driving consensus in matrixed organizations.
Experience influencing peers across product management, the sales/GTM, corporate marketing, and regional leaders in a highly matrixed and global organization environment.
Strong executive presence and excellent collaboration skills.
Strategic problem solver who can identify and set short and long term strategic priorities.
"Owner-operator" working style.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $161,500 -- $360,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
