Responsibilities:Maintenance Technicians complete preventive maintenance tasks and routine repairs on automated material handling system components to support the goals of the Distribution Center. You will report to a Facilities Supervisor.

Additional responsibilities include:

Respond to system issues involving conveyors, PIE, sortation and controls (EMS, WCS, Sort Director, EWM, Hardware, and Software)Basic troubleshooting/diagnostic and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of the conveyor system and building components, including PLCs, DC drivers, AC invertors, linear motors, VFDs, encoders, scanners, power distribution, communication systems, computer-controlled building systems, conveyor systems and maintenance management system (CMMS)Be a subject matter expert for conveyors, cross belt system, Dematic Multi Shuttle System/Goods to Person SystemOperate all material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution CenterWork at heights and in unusual positionsMust be available for 24-hour on-call rotationKnowledge and application of safe work practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards and Arc FlashFollow codes, such as the NEC, BOCA and UBC, MSDS and OSHADesign, implement, and document PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley) programming changes to automated equipment when authorizedTroubleshoot, and implement changes to I/O device networks such as Probus, Data Highway, and CanBus

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of building and equipment maintenance with two years maintaining Dematic or similar conveyor systems2+ years of experience with AC drives (set-up, programming, faults)Familiarity with Microsoft and CMMS programsExperience with power distribution, power generation, control circuits, electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools, calipers, and gaugesExperience reading and interpreting Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEO) drawings and schematicsCan frequently lift, push, and slide packages typically weighing 50-75lbs.Successful completion of Maintenance skill evaluation
