The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
Working collaboratively with clinical staff, nursing and multiple referring Boston Children’s Hospital specialty providers, facilitating needed treatments and clinical support for patients and families in this ambulatory infusion and procedural clinic that sees 10,000 plus patients and families annually, 7 days a week for ambulatory treatments such as blood product infusions, biologic medications, gene therapies, food allergy challenges, as well day treatment for children with newly diagnosed diabetes.Triaging patients and clinical care coordination, on-site practitioner coverage for emergent patient care, and direct care for patients experiencing PICC complications, food challenges, and assessment of new patients seen in Infusion CenterProviding staff education and program operations support.40hrs; a combination of 8, 10 & 12 hour shifts, rotating days/evenings and every third weekend.Location: Boston with flexibility to cover Waltham's Infusion Center as needed
To qualify, you must have:
MSN requiredNP license requiredA minimum of 2 years Pediatric RN/NP experience required
