We are especially looking for experience in video generation. We seek candidates with strong expertise in the field, as evidenced by peer-reviewed academic publications, combined with hands-on industrial research experience.As an Applied Scientist at Adobe, you will be joining an outstanding team of applied researchers building the future of digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to develop novel ideas to advance the Creativity world through features in Adobe's products and reach millions of people worldwide!Job ResponsibilitiesConduct innovative research and development in Generative AIDevelop and transfer novel technologies to Adobe productsResearch and develop novel large-scale foundation models in Generative AICollaborate with extraordinary researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to productionAbility to convert a research idea/paper to code in Python and typical machine learning development toolkits.Provide technical mentorship and guidance.What you'll need to succeedMasters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML or related fieldsExcellent communication skills and a great teammateExperience in state-of-the-art Generative AI technologies, such as GAN and/or diffusion modelsStrong hands-on experience working on image/video generation and image/video editingExperience with large-scale generative model trainingPreferred experience:Working with large-scale datasetsWorking with product teams on technology transfersGood publication record in Computer Science, AI/ML or related fields#fireflygenaiOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $135,200 -- $250,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
