As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding Axon’s critical network infrastructure. Hybrid from Scottsdale or Boston onsite 2 X a weekReports to:

Senior Manager, Global InfrastructureDirect Reports:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems, including

Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco routing/switching, Aruba Access Points, and SD-WAN

solutions.Monitor and enhance network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to ensure high availability and reliability.Support the implementation of new network infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with Axon’s strategic goals.Assist with network security configurations, including VPN setups, access controls, and firewall policies to safeguard Axon’s data and systems.Collaborate with the Network Engineering team on optimizing and scaling Axon’s network across multiple office locations, including Arizona HQ.Provide tier-two support for escalated network incidents, troubleshooting advanced issues and ensuring timely resolution.Document network architectures, configurations, and changes to maintain accurate and accessible records.Participate in planning and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.Engage with third-party vendors and service providers to coordinate network installations, hardware replacements, and issue resolution.Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering growth within the team.What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.3-5 years

of hands-on experience in network engineering, with expertise in Cisco routing and switching (CCNA or CCNP preferred).Strong knowledge of

Palo Alto Firewalls , including rule management and troubleshooting.Experience with

wireless network systems , particularly

Aruba Access Points , and optimizing wireless environments.Familiarity with

SD-WAN

technology, including deployment and management in multi-site environments.Solid understanding of network security principles, VPN configurations, and threat mitigation strategies.Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools like

SolarWinds, Wireshark , or similar.Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.Benefits that Benefit You

The starting base pay for this role is between USD 92,650 in the lowest geographic market and USD 125,350 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they check every box in the job description.
