The Workspaces team is a core vertical product team responsible for driving engagement and retention across our Analytics product line. The team owns a wide variety of surfaces (Search, Dashboards, Spaces, Alerts and Notifications). As we invest more in notifications, alerts, and search as engagement levers, there is a need to scale out our existing infrastructure. This role will help us ensure we can support 10X growth in usage of these services.
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will:
Drive performance and scalability improvements for our notifications, alerting, and ML infrastructureEnhance caching infrastructure to support products with low frequency of usage but high query volumeImprove quality of our anomaly detection modelsIdentify and contribute to the infrastructure roadmap for the Workspaces team
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
You have experience building and deploying services on AWS or similar cloud providersYou have proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, JavascriptYou have experience with both relational and NoSQL databasesYou have experience working on consumer facing productsYou have worked on services that have needed to scale quickly
