This role will support a rapidly transforming and dynamic business and serves as legal advisor on litigation and disputes issues to finance and business leaders and others in the LCA Department.Responsibilities:Representing the Company in disputes litigated and pre-litigation.Advising internal clients on assessment of business disputes, including defense, settlement, and trial.Managing outside counsel relationships and budgets for assigned matters.Collaborating with colleagues to provide strategic guidance and mitigate risk.Contributing to the development of internal policies, guidelines, and toolkits.Supporting strategic projects, including mergers & acquisitions.Requirements:Possess a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and bar admission.Hold a valid license in at least one state and showcase several years of valuable litigation experience.3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal position.Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal research services.Have familiarity with e-discovery technology, protocols, and legal ethics rules.Demonstrate a focused client-service approach and discretion in handling confidential information.Desire familiarity with employee benefits, employment law, and in-house corporate law department experience.Flexible Working:So that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
