We are seeking a Director, Talent Management Americas, to join our Americas People & Culture Team. This role will have 2 direct reports, interact with managers and employees and will report directly into the SVP, People & Culture Americas. The Director, Talent Management Americas role will be responsible for executing talent management strategies across the Americas region and will focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top tier talent to support the organization’s business goals. In this role you’ll: Define and implement the Talent Management and Development Strategy for Americas aligned with Global Talent Management and Global P&C Strategies. Build and leverage relationships with Global COE and People Partners to drive talent results across the region. Drive initiatives that support the overall business strategy and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Design, implement, and manage development programs that support employee growth and career advancement ensuring they meet local requirements and cultural nuances. This includes leadership development and soft skills enhancement. Implement promotion processes. Identify training needs for Amadeus employees in the Americas and implement training programs accordingly. Analyze trends and issues in the region, offering insights and suggestions for improvement. Participate in cross-functional projects providing the regional perspective and contributing to P&C and Organizational goals. Liaise with counterparts in Americas and APAC to drive a consistent leader and employee experience. Manage budget and roll out, deploy and implement global development strategy/projects/programs across Americas. Design local development projects/program for managers and staff that support employee growth and career advancement. Administer L&D programs e.g. New Managers Program, Career Development and Mentoring programs. Coordinate the Manager and Sr Manager Nomination process, deliver feedback sessions and coordination of development plans. Work together with People & Culture Business Partners and line managers to define training needs, design an appropriate training calendar and implement all the training activities planned and logistics. Manage the distribution of online training licenses such as LinkedIn, Pluralsight and define ad hoc training for the different sites. Implement and monitor completion level of mandatory trainings. Create Workday Campaigns to push training to target population and ensure the correct management of those trainings. Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees in Workday. Analyze training providers ensuring the best cost-benefit option, prepare, post and follow-up on RFPs when needed. Ensure/Adapt proper roll-out, deployment and implementation of the strategy, talent review process and tools. Advisors to local manager on completion for SM and below. Define and manage local talent pool(s). Support COE on the implementation of employee engagement surveys. Identify local opportunities for improvement. Roll out, deploy and implement global action plans across Americas - develop and deploy local action plans. Assist people partners/line managers with interpreting and communicating the data to develop action plans aimed at improving scores. Manage Training tools to include the Workday Learning Module. Ensure accuracy of training records, reports and training offer for Americas. Drive, implement and support the corporate development programs and projects on demand. Such as Internal Trainers project, Agile Project, Workday, Promotion process etc. Develop and execute comprehensive D&I strategy aligned with the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and framework. Design and deliver awareness programs to enhance cultural competence, mitigate unconscious bias, and promote inclusion in the workplace. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to champion D&I efforts and build partnerships that support the company’s D&I goals. Create, track and analyze key talent management metrics. Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of training programs and other talent management initiatives. About the ideal candidate: Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or other related discipline and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in talent management, employee development, P&C Business Partner role with a focus on talent or a similar role. Knowledge of talent management best practices, employee engagement strategies, and performance management systems. Proven track record of designing and implementing talent management programs that drive business results. Knowledge of performance management, succession planning, and leadership development. Proficient in technical knowledge and Talent and training trends. Knowledge of Amadeus business and organization. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent development programs. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. PC Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite & Workday.
