As a Blackline Accounting Consultant, you will play a vital role in steering clients through a variety of intricate projects, ensuring strict compliance with accounting principles, practices, and procedures. The Blackline Accounting Consultant will be tasked with overseeing a seamless and timely month-end close process, as well as generating detailed financial statements and reports that align with client objectives and regulatory standards.What You Will Work On
Account Reconciliation Management: Oversee and manage the entire account reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reconciled accounts.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within reconciliation workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work collaboratively with finance teams, management, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on reconciliation objectives.Compliance and Controls: Ensure that reconciliation procedures comply with relevant accounting standards and internal controls, mitigating risks associated with financial discrepancies.What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA preferredAbility to work onsite 3x weekly is requiredExperience using Blackline is requiredExperience reviewing balance sheet reconciliations requiredExcellent communication and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels and a strong client service orientationExperience in a global company/accounting organization (large complex environment)What You Can Expect
