Benefits Specialist
to join our team! The person in this role is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs at CSC, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k). The ideal candidate will be proactive and people-focused and will have a strong background in benefits and retirement program administration.This role will report to the
Senior Manager, Benefits . The ideal candidate will be based near one of our hub locations with the option of working remotely or in one of our office locations on a hybrid basis.
What you get to do every day:
Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS (Paylocity), including thorough regular audits, to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.Enrolls employees with carriers and processes life status changes.Responds to benefits inquiries regarding plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, benefit claim issues, plan changes, and other inquiries.Responds to 401(k) inquiries relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts.Reconciles carrier invoices monthly.Assists with the open enrollment process.Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.Serves as one of the primary contacts for benefits and retirement vendors.
What you bring to the role:
Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work with employees at every level of the company.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.At least two years of experience with benefits and retirement program administration.What’s in it for you?
