As the Global Stock Administrator you will assist in building and scaling Flexport’s stock administration function as the Company continues to expand globally. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on late-stage private and public company stock administration experience and will be exceptionally organized, responsible, detail-oriented and resourceful. You will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team and make a direct impact on the business as it scales!You will:
Own global stock plan administration and maintenance of equity database.Work closely with the company’s transfer agent, as well as Legal, Payroll, People Operations, Tax and other teams, to complete all transactional processes: new grants, vesting events, exercises, terminations / cancellations, etc.Assist efforts to grow and scale the stock administration function, including enhancing existing manual processes, automating processes, and evaluating service providers.Assist with preparation of stock-related matters in Company annual and periodic financial statements.Assist in coordination of the 409a valuation process.Generate recurring reports; Run Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports to record stock compensation expense.Understand and input Black Scholes assumptions for equity grants; memorialize assumptions made within Memorandum.Maintain audit trail of procedures performed in order to comply with internal controls.Have familiarity with applying US GAAP rules from ASC 718 Compensation - Stock Compensation and ASC 505 Equity.Perform complex equity related mobility tax calculations.Provide customer service to employees, answering questions and resolving issues.Partner with Finance, Legal and People Operations to provide employee education regarding the value of equity as a component of their total rewards and the lifecycle processes associated with their grants.You should have:
5+ years of experience with global equity administration.Demonstrated expertise with global equity programs, multiple equity award types, and transaction volume.Experience in both private and public companies preferred; experience with transitioning from a private to public company would be ideal.CEP strongly preferred.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – ability to communicate with people at all levels.Advanced Excel skills.Strong understanding of equity related tax and accounting requirements.Excellent project management skills, follow-up and ability to prioritize.A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to complete projects timely and accurately.Commitment to Equal Opportunity
