You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for a broad range of matters, including subscriptions compliance, product support, marketing, and privacy. You will work directly with the business, providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and serving as counsel on strategic issues. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of legal experienceJuris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalentExperience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house workAbility to demonstrate great judgment even in ambiguous situationsAbility to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teamsAbility to build rapport with and earn trust of business partnersExcellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlinesStrong written and oral communication skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
