Responsibilities:The successful candidate will provide downstream process development and material generation support within the company’s Process Development team.Development, optimize, and scale-up purification processes for biologics candidates to support early-stage developmentAnalyze and interpret data to drive technical understanding, meet project targets and objectives, problem solve, and make recommendations that drive efficiency, knowledge, and manage riskCollaborate closely with other functional areas involved in antibody therapeutics development, including upstream process development, analytical development, project management, and cross-functional partnersWork effectively with external collaborators and CROsCoordinate activities with functional groups and project teamsDiscuss experiments and data to project team membersDevelop, write, and review standard operating protocols and other technical documentsMay act as a lead for assigned projects or team
RequirementsThe Process Development team is seeking a talented, highly motivated Scientist I to work on the purification of therapeutic antibody drug candidates from human and mouse immune repertoires.Experience in protein purification techniques, especially chromatography; antibody purification experience preferredProficient in writing methods and operating AKTA chromatographic instruments (such as AKTA Avant, AKTA Purifier, AKTA Pure, AKTA Ready or similar)Strong scientific understanding and logical thinkingAbility to train others in basic laboratory techniques and equipment operationProficiency in analytical method development and analytical method validationDemonstrate flexibility and problem-solving activitiesEducation: BachelorExperience: 4+ years Equivalency Masters with 2+ years of experience
