Locum Physician (MD/DO) - General Surgery in Woodland, PA

SPECIALTY: GENERAL SURGERY LOCATION: PENNSYLVANIA – multi-site JOB TYPE: LOCUM TENENS JOB NUMBER: 42752 LOCUM POSITION DETAILS 42752. Approximated Start Date: January 6th, 2024. DETAILS: Rate structure: Travel/Lodging HYBRID – INHOUSE HOTEL CALL. Cases: Upper and Lower scopes. B&B General Surgery. Cerner. No – Solo. Clinic Consultation Rounding: Monday-Friday basis, at least 2-3 days a week. Additional Call: Elective OR cases and OR block time. Average Daily Admissions: 2 rounding. Support Staff: Surgeons APP. CASE TYPES: Adult Percentage: 95% Typical Cases Seen: Appendectomy, gallbladder, etc. general bread and butter cases. Peds Percentage: 5% Procedures: All typical General Surgery Procedures. HOSPITAL INFO : SITE 1 : shift either 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. & 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while also taking on-call for SITE 2 : during this time and reporting to the hospital for cases. REQUIRED: PA State license required or IMLC (LOQ in hand) . Will wait on License. Board Certification – Board Certified, Board Eligible Residency Requirements/Fellowship – General Surgery. Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; CPR; PALS. SCHEDULE: Need: 20-25 SPM. Full Privileges Temp Privileges available. 24-hour clinic call shifts at minimum 2 days per week Multi-Site privileging.
