We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will provide specialized care to critically ill newborns and premature infants, ensuring the highest standards of patient care within a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans for neonates in the NICU. You will provide advanced clinical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of neonatal conditions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, is essential to delivering optimal care for patients. You will also participate in family-centered care by educating and supporting families throughout their infants' hospital stays. Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records will be critical to your success in this role. Schedule: This position requires day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including scheduled weekends. There are no on-call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Qualifications: NNP Board Certification is required. Master’s degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing is required. Current APRN National Specialty Certification as a Board Certified NNP. Valid Georgia Nurse Practitioner license or willingness to obtain. A minimum of 2 years of employment experience as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner is required.
