Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Anesthesiology in Missouri

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Anesthesiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Board Certified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Cardiac trained with TEE certification preferred Job Description: - Work Monday through Friday, 10-hour days, with no call, weekends, or overnights. - Medical direction practice model, directing CRNAs 100%. - Facility staffed with 22 MDs and 78 CRNAs; backup by one Anesthesiologist per shift and minimum of three CRNAs. - Caseload includes 10-15 patients per day covering all surgical specialties except high-risk Pediatrics and transplants. - Expected to perform Cardiac, Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head, Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic surgeries. - Total operating rooms: 47, with up to 28-30 sites of service running daily. - Trauma services provided; patients range from ASA 1-5e. - Support staff includes anesthesia department-specific admin support and 80 CRNAs. - Nearest airport and lodging recommendations are available for travel convenience. - Credentialing timeframe estimated at 90 days. - Required skills: General, Adult, Pediatric, Trauma, Spinal, Epidural, Regional anesthesia, Neurosurgical, Obstetrical cases. - Preferred skills: Neonatal, Open Heart, Thoracic, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidurals and extremity blocks, Use of x-ray guidance, Ventilation management, Evaluation of acute volume/BP issues. - CRNA supervision is required.
