Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tester with 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mobile app testing methodologies, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, and hands-on coding experience for automation scripts. This role involves testing applications across multiple mobile environments, debugging, and accurately reporting defects.
Key Responsibilities
•Design, code, test, and debug applications to meet system standards and functional/performance requirements.
•Develop and maintain mobile test automation frameworks leveraging tools such as Espresso and Appium.
•Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and other development activities.
•Perform functional, performance, usability, and compatibility testing for mobile applications.
•Create physical and logical design documents for mobile testing projects.
•Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair existing applications efficiently.
•Document and report defects accurately, providing detailed screenshots and video recordings.
•Test applications configured with different user permissions and roles.
•Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless client/server interactions.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
•3-5 years of software development experience in languages such as C, C++, Objective C, or Java.
•2-3 years of experience developing mobile applications in environments like iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, or Blackberry.
•3+ years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
•1-3 years of experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
•Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, SWIFT, or other object-oriented programming languages for automation.
•Experience with tools like Espresso for Android UI Testing and Appium for Android and iOS.
•Working knowledge of bug logging and test case management tools such as JIRA, MTM, Zephyr, or HPQ.
•Strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies and client/server interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
•Strong interest in mobile devices and operating systems.
•Experience in testing applications across different user configurations and permissions.
