Description: • We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Network Engineering, Media, and Broadcast to implement and support resilient, scalable networks for a digital media streaming platform focused on live sports events. • This role will collaborate with various teams across the organization to design, build, and integrate solutions that meet real-time media and broadcast requirements. • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring network stability and performance, mentoring junior engineers, and driving the innovation of our streaming solutions.
Primary Responsibilities: • Design and implement secure network solutions to transport live and file-based content over various networks. • Develop scalable solutions to address business needs and support technology projects. • Troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues, ensuring minimal service disruption. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. • Serve as an escalation point for complex network problems. • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for network support. • Manage data center infrastructure for client-facing services. • Coordinate with carriers for operational support. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. • Proven experience working with large-scale network infrastructures. • Expertise in data center deployments, including Spine-leaf architecture. • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with network platforms (e.g., Arista, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper). • Strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of network analysis fundamentals. • Proficiency with network protocols and technologies, including QoS, Multicast, BGP, IPSEC, VPNs, and telemetry. • Experience with EVPN-VXLAN and packet analysis. • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
Desired Skills: • CCNP, ACE-L3, or PCNSA certifications are a plus. • Experience with automation and scripting. • Knowledge of cloud networking, direct connections, cloud security, and virtualized firewalls.
Compensation: Pay Range:$122500-$175000
