JOB SUMMARY
This position coordinates, plans, and assists the day-to-day administration of the Coordinated Entry program on behalf of Salt Lake County’s local homeless coordinating committee and Salt Lake Valley Coalition to End Homelessness (SLVCEH). The position works closely with the program manager to review, resource, and implement system wide Coordinated Entry standards and activities, which aim to effectively connect people with interventions that will rapidly end their homelessness. Responsible for coordination of program upkeep and data management tasks and works with internal and external partners to ensure a continuity of service around coordinated entry.
Provides complex data support by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources. Processes and monitors the quality and consistency of data. Provides information by designing methods to collect and retrieve data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, or other closely related field; OR, an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinates the implementation and administration of the CES which includes data management and general operation of the program and its related activities, including the Community Triage Group.
Guides the collection of client data submitted from community partners and maintains by-name list generated from the Homeless Management Information System.
Develops and conducts operational training for customers.
Creates and implements tools such as statistical reports, graphs, images, and lists to simplify complex data.
Prepares publications, training materials, business presentations, publications, marketing collaterals, and other educational materials.
Performs quality control on data to ensure data integrity. Uses quality control to identify opportunities for trainings.
Analyzes information using various statistical methods.
Collects data by identifying sources of information used to design survey and collection methods.
