Overview
Our direct and largest client has an immediate need for a
Senior-Level IBM Mainframe Tester
to work
REMOTE
on a Federal program based in Washington, DC. In this role, you will create and maintain test plans, test cases and test case traceability mappings to verify functionalities have met the stated requirements during testing of the application.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be
US Citizens
and be able to pass the client’s background check.
Responsibilities
Prepare input data and test procedures for testing.
Process test data, review output against expected results, and report findings.
Create predetermined results and develop testing strategies, test cases, and data for ALC and Java code.
Record outputs in EWM/RTC and use compare tools to identify data differences.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability mappings to ensure requirements are met.
Support development and testing by resolving defects and ensuring application functionalities meet requirements.
Perform testing based on organizational needs and timelines, adhering to SLAs.
Continuously learn and adapt to different situations.
Review and analyze test documentation and participate in walkthroughs, meetings, and reviews.
Provide status updates during Scrum calls and contribute to improving testing processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of experience with the following:
Requirements Analysis
Functional Test Planning
Test Execution and Management
Job Control Language (JCL)
Restructured Extended Executor (REXX)
Understanding and functioning knowledge of RQM is expected
Experience working on Agile teams
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be
US Citizens
and be able to pass the client’s background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with legacy Masterfile (IMF or BMF)
IRS/BMF/IMF/CADE 2 experience
Compensation
Competitive salary range of $90K - $145K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications.
The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
Employee benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K plan and additional voluntary benefits. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
