About the Role:
As the Risk & Compliance Lead for Oracle Payments, you'll be at the heart of innovation, collaborating with Oracle’s global teams to bring cutting-edge consumer payment solutions to market. Your role will be crucial in driving a comprehensive risk and compliance program, ensuring our payment applications meet rigorous global standards.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Risk Management: Partner with the Regulatory Legal Department to assess and mitigate risks across Oracle’s diverse payment lines. Develop and implement risk controls in collaboration with technology, business operations, and compliance teams.
Policy Development: Work with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to review, define, and craft new policies, risk models, SOPs, and monitoring frameworks.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure payment products comply with multi-state laws and regulations. Enhance processes and controls to optimize compliance and reduce risk.
Control and Audit Leadership: Formulate and map controls, lead control design reviews, and coordinate annual assessments and audits. Ensure alignment with control risk ratings and manage responses to audit findings.
Risk Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments of business processes to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance failures. Analyze defects and complaints to refine controls and procedures.
Data-Driven Insights: Manage regulatory examinations and internal audits. Use data analytics to detect risk signals and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Vendor and Compliance Management: Oversee license renewals, quarterly and annual reports, and manage vendor risk assessments. Respond to regulatory and vendor requests for compliance information.
Subject Matter Expertise: Establish yourself as the go-to expert on payments risk and compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with management, product, technology, regulatory, and security teams to stay ahead of emerging compliance challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Risk, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years in compliance or related fields, with a proven track record in tech-driven organizations.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions controls, and payment licensing regulations. Experience in risk assessments, integrated audits, and compliance testing.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and project management skills. Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable advice. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
Passion: Enthusiasm for decoding compliance challenges and a solution-oriented mindset. Attention to detail and a commitment to building robust compliance frameworks.

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
