Van Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate and coordinate transportation of residents with the Facility Services Administrative Assistant.Transport residents to their destinations safely and punctually; arrange return trips to prevent confusion regarding time and destination.Coordinate transportation for Activity Events to and from agreed-upon destinations, working with other staff.Conduct non-resident trips to various locations such as the bank, post office, Church Headquarters, and other necessary destinations.Coordinate the usage of Rosewood Center vehicles.Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle checks on vehicles.Greet visitors entering the office and provide appropriate directions.Maintain regular, reliable, and consistent attendance as directed by supervisor.Adhere to Hillise Manor Ethical Standards, Guidelines/Compliance Plan, and uphold high ethical standards in all interactions.Comply with all provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).Ensure Transportation Department compliance with federal and state regulatory and licensure requirements.Van Driver Qualifications:Class E LicenseCPR CertifacationMust possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities. Considerable initiative and judgment is also required.Van Driver must have the ability to read, write, and follow verbal directions.
