Description Position Summary As a full-stack Web Engineer I at Credit One Bank, you will bring your experience into focus developing interactive web-based applications and user interfaces within enterprise-grade website content management systems and other frameworks. You will work with teams of talented web developers and software engineers to architect, design, implement, and manage sites that serve millions of prospective and current credit card members. Essential Job Functions Participate in continual site development and on-going design and functional optimization. Design efficient Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Models, Workflows, and Components. Maintain existing templates and configure new templates within AEM. Interface with intra-departmental staff and external project managers and developers. These duties will include working with designers and technologists to ensure that user interfaces reflect the design and technology requirements and functionality as set forth by the business. Adhere to coding standards and Adobe best practices for efficiency, readability, and reuse. Remain informed and up-to-date regarding new and emerging developments in technology, and feel comfortable proposing solutions based upon these technologies, including educating and informing non-technical colleagues. Participate in peer code review sessions, methodically examining code for defects and improvement opportunities, while readily accepting any constructive criticism. Meticulously document site revisions and code updates. Pre-deployment Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-deployment regression testing. Assist deployment team on AEM bi-weekly and bank-wide deployments to ensure continual code improvement success. Follow established procedures and controls (e.g. project intake, tracking, and management; code management; and, documentation processes). Position Requirements Intermediate knowledge of modern web development tools: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including jQuery and Node.js), JSON, and AJAX. Experience with responsive front-end frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation by ZURB). Working familiarity of JavaScript libraries such as React or Angular. Working familiarity of SCSS compilers and modern web workflow tools. Working familiarity with layout systems such as CSS Grid or Flexbox is a plus. Familiarity with enterprise-grade Content Management System (CMS) implementations, specifically Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other Java-based platforms, would be an advantage. Knowledge of Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM), AEM Responsive Grid, Java Content Repository (JCR), CRXDE Lite, Apache Felix OSGi, Apache Sling, Sightly/HTL, Java/J2EE, Maven, and REST would be a plus. Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, and/or IntelliJ. Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products, including Photoshop, Illustrator and XD. Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, SQL, SQL2, and Oracle. Working familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and debugging best practices. Experience in integrating web APIs. Experience with distributed version control systems (the GitLab in particular. Atlassian Stack and Git repositories in general). Working familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Dynamic Tag Management (DTM) is a plus. Working familiarity with containerization / orchestration models like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
