Nov 22 2024 Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and update comprehensive commercial Data Governance roadmap to set clear priorities and guide initiatives to address governance priorities in a proactive manner
Facilitate Data Governance Council decisions and discussions; manage key documentation including charter, meeting schedule, and decisions made
Facilitate Data Governance review of proposed data use; oversee and continually improve review process to address evolving risks and achieve greater efficiency
Establish strategies for evolving and continually improving processes related to addressing reidentification risks and managing access to data assets
Partner with owners of key work streams and data products to ensure privacy-by-design and appropriate controls are in place; manage regular monitoring of key systems, products, and use cases
Design and direct internal evaluations to validate appropriate controls and practices are in place for data management activities
Oversee Privacy function, including recommending updates to current processes based on requirements of changing state and federal privacy laws; partner with GSK Tech and business teams to guide implementation of those recommendations
Maintain documentation and training related to management and use of data assets across the organization
Why You?
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years' experience with Data Governance processes
Data Privacy experience
Preferred Qualifications: Data and AI Privacy certifications (CIPP, AIGP, etc.)
Experience with data lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management, and conducting business audits
Hands-on experience with tools for data assessments and investigations (SQL and/or Python; Databricks and/or Snowflake)
Knowledge of common data sources used in commercial operations and analytics in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience with digital marketing data collection and management
Experience guiding evaluations of reidentification risks within datasets, based on Expert Determination approach
Experience with common tools for Data Cataloging (Collibra, Alation, etc.)
Experience working with unstructured data and non-tabular data structures
Knowledge of GSK controls, including third party risk management and technical controls
