As a Guest Services Manager, you willlead a team of staff, interns and volunteers to create a safe, healing environment for women and children in a Christian residential program. Oversees the Guest Services Team and functions of the Women and Children's Ministries, including customer service, front desk reception and security, facility staffing and scheduling, and administrative functions.

Pay Range:

$22.10 - $30.94 Hourly

The above pay range is a guideline. For candidates who meet the qualifications of the job, the Mission's Compensation Philosophy is to target the 40th - 50th percentile of the range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final pay rate to be offered. Factors include (but are not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training as well as internal equity, market and other business considerations.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

How you will serveDue to the sensitive nature of this ministry location, we are only able to consider females for this position.Supervise the Guest Services team to ensure professionalism, competence and Christ-like customer service is extended to all guests/volunteers and staff who enter the building.Work closely with Senior Director of Women and Children's Shelter to establish and implement goals for assigned areas.Provide organizational, spiritual, and administrative leadership to all direct reports, and volunteers, including hiring, on-boarding and training of new staff, time sheet approval, development, scheduling, coaching and performance management and other support related to personnel issues.Work proactively with WCM leadership team, Mission staff and ministry partners to continually develop and improve quality services provided to homeless individuals and families, staying on top of any potential problematic operational issues.Oversee reception and customer service functions at Hope Place, including handling visitors, checking-in volunteers, answering phones, ensuring the highest level of customer service at Hope Place.Oversee the intake process including inquiry calls, phone screens, intakes and bedlist.Maintain weekly staff and intern schedule including vacation schedules, shift coverage and special events, ensuring adequate staffing of the Hope Place facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week.Oversee proper handling of guest communication, including mail and phone messages, protecting the confidentiality of guests.Oversee the updating and organizing of guest and staff information (photos, directory info, etc) and facility incident documentation.Promote spiritual health and unity at WCM by presenting a Christ-like demeanor in interactions with guests, staff, callers, visitors, and donors.Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and training, as required.Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.How we support each other

A combination of education and 3 years of relatable experience may be substituted for a degreeTwo years experaince working in a Socail Services setting is highly preferred1+ years of experience working working with Homeless Population is preferred .2+ years of experience managing a team is required.\Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience working with a CRM system (Clarity) is preferredPossess a valid Washington State Drivers License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria required, including but not limited to:

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Occasionally lifts up to 20 pounds and walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the company. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
