ADT Physical Therapy BayfrontPer Diem81487BRJob SummaryThe Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will report to the Clinical Supervisor, Speech-Language Pathology, and will be responsible for both direct and indirect patient care services. The Per Diem SLP will plan, assess, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role requires flexibility, as it offers per diem hours and will involve working primarily with adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and clinical swallowing assessments for patients.Develop and implement individualized therapeutic intervention plans based on patient assessments, including setting measurable goals and objectives.Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication and cognitive-linguistic function.Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care.Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.Educate patients and families about strategies for improving communication and cognitive function.Stay up to date with the latest research and clinical practices related to neuro-rehabilitation.Participate in case reviews and contribute to team discussions.
