Responsibilities We are looking for PT Assistants to join our Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center! This 30-bed inpatient rehab center is located on our downtown Fresno campus. Offering the flexibility of a part-time schedule, you will learn underneath our Physical Therapists, assisting in the care of patients, performing procedures and treatments that restore function, relieve pain and prevent permanent disability. With a background in customer service and a personal demeanor, you will work with clinicians to support

patients. You will be key in the implementation of our patient’s care plans, organizing patient care and discharge planning efficiently.

Qualifications Education & Experience

High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Successful completion of one of the following is required:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant degree program

Sat for the national examination and received a passing score to qualify for licensures occurring before January 1, 2010 as per Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

PTA - State of California Physical Therapist Assistant License required

Exception may be made for Physical Therapy Assistant License Applicant with a requirement to obtain licensure within 180 days of hire or transfer into position

BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
