Certification Details BCLS - Basic Life Support Job Details Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/16. RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Ratios: 1:6-7. Shift: NIGHTS 36 or 48 hours accepted. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Insulin gtts, Heparin gtts UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Based on scheduling gaps UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours SCRUBS: Navy Must Pass EKG test for this specialty Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year Traveler Experience: Not required Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Med/Surg, Heparin, Insulin Schedule Information Shift: NIGHTS 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop).
