Bulk BuyerYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.Negotiating with vendors to get the best possible prices on non-managed materials.Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.Monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs.Preparing and processing purchase orders and update management on status of orders.Track all transactions, purchase orders, and product receipts.Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries.Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations.Coordinating with BMS Traffic using Transportation Management System (TMS) or Vendors to arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.Coordinate with inventory team, commercial/customer service/product management, and operations as required.Place purchase orders for managed products in accordance with product management guidance and commitmentsAssess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.YOUR PROFILE
