Description
The Business Development- Used Truck role will be responsible to train under the mentorship of the Used Truck Manager, and other dealership personnel assigned to mentor specific functions/disciplines.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:Learn to effectively communicate truck specifications to customersAttend all MPG, Peterbilt, and third party training classes as assignedStudy truck and equipment specifications to improve knowledge of product performance and applicationDevelop customer relationshipsDevelop customer presentationsCollaborate with fellow employees and suppliersFollow up on all details pertaining to transaction paperworkSecure customer commitmentsProduce "walk around" marketing videos for all used trucksWork with marketing to post trucks on publication websites, print media and other promotionsAssist with used truck inspections as neededAttend sales and training meetingsAttend industry events/open houses/golf outingsMaintain professional appearanceOther tasks as assignedQualifications

Moderate to intermediate computer skills with fundamental computer operations, spreadsheets, word processing, database, e-mail, and CRM softwareLanguage Skills:
The ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents, and government regulationsThe ability to write reports, and business correspondenceThe ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, common inquires, or complaints, from customers, and the general publicMathematical Skills:
The ability of performing basic math as well as calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, statistics, area, circumference, and volumeThe ability to apply concepts of basic algebraReasoning Ability:

Must have a valid CDL driver's license or be able to attain a CDL driver's license within six months of hire date and meet insurability requirements with the Company's insurance companyTravel:
Three days per week should be allotted for contacting new and established customers to follow up on appointments that were previously scheduledPhysical Demands and Environment:
