Staff AccountantPart of the accounting team, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for the processing of month end and year end accounting adjustments. The Accounting Analyst will also support functions in accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and payroll. The Accounting Analyst is also responsible for providing data/reports ad hoc.Duties:* Generate information and reports expeditiously and accurately in order to meet the needs of the organizational management teams.* Working closely with manufacturing, participate in the development of accessible reporting tools linked to ERP, especially regarding the Project Accounting Systems. Ensure the data provided is accurate and designed as useful and needed within parameters of levels of access rights.* Complete assigned tasks for month end and year end to complete periodic accounting reporting cycles. This includes Material Cost Transfers, Adjusting Journal Entries and providing data reports as requested. Complete additional ad-hoc tasking as requested.Experience: 3 years Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and working knowledge of database software. 2-3 years government accounting experience preferred, project accounting experience preferred.Specific knowledge: Subject matter expert in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
