About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Merchandising Assistant
to join our team in Culver City. In this hybrid role, you'll support the Merchandising Specialist and Senior Manager in key areas such as style creation, planogram rendering, competitive data reporting, and maintenance of sample libraries. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Merchandising Specialist with style and color setup in Centric PLM.
• Maintain the product
Sample Wall
with seasonal updates of new and carryforward styles.
• Oversee the
Bought Sample Library
to ensure accurate records and availability.
• Compile competitive retail reports by collecting, entering, and analyzing data, and creating PowerPoint files with details such as product attributes, pack sizes, pricing, facings, packaging, and more.
• Create lineograms and prepare planogram render files for the Merchandising Specialist.
• Support consumer survey insights by preparing image data for Maker Sights reports.
• Prepare seasonal image files for Nu Order Linesheets for Macy's.
• Draft handoff emails with Knit and BOM numbers for Tech and PD teams.
• Assist with product boards, trend research, and other merchandising projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in apparel, product development/design, merchandising, fashion design, textiles, or a related field.
• Proficiency in
Excel
and a strong focus on accuracy in data input.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Resourcefulness and flexibility as priorities shift.
• Experience with
Adobe Illustrator
and
Microsoft Suite
is a plus.
