Job Title:Funding Team Lead
Location:TX - Dallas/Irving
What you'll do:As the overall operations department continues to expand at AmeriHome and the managers begin focusing on department growth and general optimization of their team, a leadership position is necessary to bridge any gaps between management and their employees. This lead will focus more on the day-to-day tasks of the business and will be able to communicate to management the effectiveness and possible issues of future changes to business processes.
What we are looking for:* Managing various pipelines with special attention to lock expiration, CDs/COCs due, PCCDs due, Escrow disbursement* Communication to treasury regarding funding's and federal ref numbers* Maintaining feedback for monthly title calls* Tracking escrow disbursement holds with servicing* Maintains an open line of communication between management and team members* Supports team manager and performs management duties, when manager is absent or out of office* Participating in making recommendations related to staff changes, interviewees, and selection of new hires, as well as internal promotions, performance evaluations, employee recognition, employee relations issues, and disciplinary actions* Plans calling strategies and communicates requests and issues to the designated departments* Lead will also be in production 50% of the time* Helps develop and maintain clear guidelines of department workflow* Review and approve timecards for team members* Undertaking new duties determined by changing needs of the businessWhat you need to have:* Strong aptitude for detail, accuracy, and organization* Bachelors degree preferred* Ability to prioritize and multi-task with ease* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills* Ability to work in a high-volume environment* 2 years of recent related mortgage experience* Encompass loan origination system experience preferred* Thorough knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements* Working knowledge of RESPA "Change in Circumstances"* Conventional and Government loan experience required
