The
Business Development Executive (BDE)
focuses primarily on prospecting new accounts, cross selling and upselling existing accounts while servicing and maintaining clients. The BDE will be a point of contact for customer sales, daily inquiries and business concerns and will focus on the growth of the Medisca brand!
The BDE builds and strengthens customer relationships, increases sales within the assigned territory and provides excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts.
Territory: Arizona and New Mexico
Location: Candidate MUST be based in Phoenix or Scottsdale, Arizona territory
Your key responsibilities
New Business Development
Search for potential clients, visit medical complexes and physicians / health care professionals and obtain referralsIdentify pharmacies (non-compounders / compounders) and successfully convert their business to MediscaIncrease Medisca's share of existing accountsLeverage existing health care compounding prescribers to increase Medisca's brandIdentify health care professionals and educate them on compounding to increase scriptsEncourage collaboration between physicians, pharmacists and MediscaMaintaining Existing Accounts & Relationship Building
Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit marginsAnalyze territory trends and identify opportunitiesRegularly track and increase pharmacist businessFollow up with customers on sales and product availability - Inbound and outbound phone/emailSuggesting new revenue sources and productsEnsure clients data and calls are kept relevant and current in systemsProactively following up with clients to ensure that they always have the support they needGenerate Sales from Inactive & New Customers
Cold call prospective customers & determine opportunities to create businessResearch new potential client options & follow up on referrals from existing clientsOpen new accounts & support onboardingWork collaboratively with Account Executives
Discuss existing accounts with Account Executives & strategize on how to increase businessInform Account Executives of planning cycle to maximize synergies and account contactProvide leads and referrals to visitTravel
Client visits, Tradeshows, Training and etc...This role will involve 2 weeks travel per month (flights, hotels, driving)Skills, knowledge and abilities
College or University degree. Sales or Science background an assetMinimum three (3) years experience in a sales roleExperience as a pharmacy technician, knowledge of compounding or representative in pharmaceutical industryProven abilities in discovering opportunities, developing strategies and closing salesEffective organizational, time management and interpersonal skillsMemorable, dynamic & animatedExcellent communication and listening skills; fluent English (written & oral) requiredKnowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook) requiredWhat's in it for you...
