The Designer - FF&E - Facilities will support the design process of projects, maintain and update baseline standards, and integrate lessons learned during post-project reviews into continuous improvement project planning. The Designer will focus on sourcing, production, and documentation of FF&E and interior finishes of a Facilities project, working with and under the direction of the Project Manager. The Designer will be responsible for evaluating vendor partners and products to meet Laitram's criteria and goals, cross-functional collaboration with Facilities' architect(s) and engineers, space planning, and supporting facilities related FF&E for buildings across multiple sites.

Principle Duties
• Leads the selection, coordination, and documentation of interior architectural finishes and design specifications.
• Benchmarks and evaluates vendors and furniture manufacturers & their respective products and services to ensure they meet Laitram's criteria and goals for design, performance, cost, and lead time.
• Leads creation and production of presentation materials to support evidence-based FF&E design selections.
• Creates standard finish and color palette options that incorporate and consider Laitram's brand across multiple types of facilities. Generates FF&E documentation for architects & contractors to include in design development.
• Creates a final furnishing plan to accurately depict layouts and identify the location and placement of all FF&E.
• Maintains project criteria and standards documentation including specifications, illustrations, and samples of each item.
• Supports review and approval of shop drawings, finishes, and FF&E submitted by the selected contractor(s) and vendor(s). Completes site visits to confirm correct installation of finishes and furniture per approved drawings.
• Integrates lessons learned from post-project reviews into continuous improvement planning for FF&E.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in FF&E design.
• Experience required in Corporate environment design to include: interior design presentation, sourcing & procuring FF&E, selection & documentation of interior architectural finishes, and space planning.
• Must share design portfolio (digital representations) of Corporate standards, FF&E, and space planning.
• Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software required. Experience with ServiceHub or Nuvolo preferred.
• Must have a customer service focus and experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills required.
