Job Description:State School, a residential institution serving approximately 45+ students aged 6-21 years, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Therapist. This role involves providing therapeutic services to children and young adults, including those with special needs, during the academic year and summer programs.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver therapeutic support tailored to the needs of children and young adults with varying developmental and emotional challenges.Collaborate with school staff, families, and external professionals to create and implement effective therapy plans.Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and adjustments to therapy plans.Actively participate in orientation and ongoing training to align with the school's mission and protocols.Qualifications:
Proven experience working with children, young adults, and individuals with special needs.Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and practices for pediatric and adolescent populations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Schedule:Following orientation, tentative hours are as follows:
Tuesday:
8:00 AM - 1:00 PMWednesday:
8:30 AM - 12:30 PMThursday:
8:00 AM - 2:00 PM(Note: Hours are subject to change based on school needs.)Start Date:
January 7, 2025
Duration:
Ongoing through the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.
Candidate Requirements:
