C.H. Robinson is hiring a Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing downstream procurement strategies that align processes, systems, and tools across the Source-to-Pay cycle. You will provide leadership in executing organizational purchases and lead all operational efforts to support Strategic Sourcing initiatives at C.H. Robinson, driving scalability and growth. Key objectives include identifying and implementing process and system improvements, overseeing the execution and support of the Travel & Expense and Corporate Card programs, and managing the Accounts Payable team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Enable category strategy development by curating indirect spend category intelligence and research
Build and utilize dashboards and reporting tools for spend and transaction analytics, driving compliance and identifying opportunities
Lead continuous improvement efforts in supplier and contract management processes
Identify, implement, and manage procurement systems and technology solutions across buying channels and the Source-to-Pay cycle
Ensure integration of procurement systems with other enterprise systems
Drive initiatives to enhance system functionality and user experience
Collaborate with technology and other departments to resolve system issues and implement upgrades
Develop and maintain procurement data analytics and reporting tools
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and implementing best practices for automation
Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Meet financial statement deadlines, prepare and execute month-end processes, and monitor and report on key performance indicators for accounts payable
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sourcing and procurement or related Source-to-Pay areas
Minimum of 5 years of professional accounts payable experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and managing teams
Preferred:
Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning technology experience
Coupa Procurement technology experience
In-depth knowledge of the Source-to-Pay cycle, including accounts payable processes
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Effective and flexible communication skills, including experience dealing with/influencing senior leaders
Strong ability to partner and consult with multiple stakeholder groups
Builds strong relationships with internal and external clients and cross-functional partners across the company
Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance
Ability to effectively implement changes in a large, global organization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
Strong conflict resolution skills
Excellent planning and project management skills
