What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

This role focuses on generating new business and maintaining strong client relationships by promoting and selling comprehensive service solutions for fire alarm systems. Key responsibilities include selling Customer Support Program (CSPs) service agreements, fire alarm inspection, testing, and maintenance services, as well as moves, adds, changes (MACs), tenant improvements, and fire alarm control panel upgrades and replacements.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to meet sales goals, identify customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance life safety, meet compliance standards, and support customer-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Agreement and Project Sales:Drive growth of CSP service agreements, as well as fire alarm inspection, testing, and maintenance services.Identify and close opportunities for MACs, tenant improvements, and system upgrades, including control panel replacements.Work closely with customers to develop customized solutions addressing their evolving fire protection needs.Sales Development:Actively prospect, identify and secure new business opportunities for fire alarm service contracts, inspections, and system upgradesDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, and market research.Client Relationship Management:Build and nurture relationships with property managers, facility owners, contractors, and decision-makers in various industries.Serve as the primary contact for service-related needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.Proposal Preparation:Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements for maintenance services and system upgrades.Prepare and present detailed proposals, highlighting the value of fire alarm solutions, including upgrades and tenant-specific improvements.Industry Knowledge:Stay informed about fire alarm technologies, NFPA codes, and local regulations to effectively communicate service offerings.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer expectations and industry standards.Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of fire alarm sales experience or equivalent industry experienceProven experience selling service agreements, inspection, testing, maintenance services, system upgrades, or MACs.Knowledge of NFPA standards, fire alarm system components, and industry compliance requirements.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Self-driven and results-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Present proposals to the decision makers while managing objections related to timing, price, and competition.

Final negotiations lead to go or no-go decisions timely.Market Focus : Identify, prospect, and develop pipeline specific to assigned market(s) and/or geographies.

Pipeline reflects opportunities in assigned market(s).Solution Focus : Identify and develop pipeline specific to assigned service solutions, including maintenance services, SAAS solutions, and managed services.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts:

Collaborate with Account Executives to sell CSPs to existing accounts and new construction projects. Partner with service colleagues, subject matter experts, and service solution partners as needed to create and deliver winning proposals.

Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customer accounts.

Ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting revenue and profit targets.Establish and Measure Market Awareness : Develop market awareness by engaging in networking activities, delivering impactful presentations, attending relevant industry events, and actively participating in industry associations.

If you are the successful candidate for this position, you excel at creating and closing opportunities by using a consultative approach to selling. You're a sales professional with a hunter mentality and are skilled at generating your own leads through cold calling, research, networking, and driving your territory and/or vertical market. You have a proven history in selling through the full sales cycle and are accustomed to varied sales cycle lengths. Lastly, you're collaborative and skilled at working with other sales professionals and cross-functional teams as part of the sales process. Key attributes include:

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or other equivalent degree

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of previous B2B full cycle sales experience. Proven history of achieving sales goals in a consultative based, non-transactional sales environment
