Overview
LMI is seeking a Data Architect to support activities related to ERP modernization as part of a larger Army ERP transition and convergence program, the Enterprise Business System – Convergence (EBS-C) program. They will work closely with system engineers and technical counterparts to manage large scale data mapping, integration, migration, conversion, and management across the program.
They will advise and support the government on how scale, secure, and provide data interfaces to government organizations, trading partners, and developers.
Note: Telework is acceptable under current government directed COVID measures. Upon amendment of those measures, liberal telework or a remote location will be acceptable with occasional requirements to travel to client offices at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and other Army locations.
Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to ensure the architecture to transport data from one source system to another is properly constructed, effective and efficient
Review and advise leadership on data models and concepts that will support data sets and data products for the analytical stakeholders and EBS-C developers.
Define how key enterprise data will be stored, consumed (abstraction layer), integrated and managed across the enterprise by different business applications, IT systems, and users through data flow diagrams and CRUD analysis
Applies architectural and technology concepts to address scalability, security, reliability, maintainability and sharing of enterprise data
Review and ensure implementation of standards, guidelines, principles, and processes around data architecture, data governance, data management, etc.
Ensure technology solutions/major project implementation plans are in alignment with data architecture principles and the overall DoD Enterprise Architecture
Support data migration and conversion as ERPs converge into the modernized solution.
Support forward and backwards data compatibility across existing and modernized systems.
Partner and participate with product owners to support business data goals and needs.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with agile methods and implementations
Experience with Defense Business Systems or ERP software/system development projects
5+ years of data integration and architecture experience
Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
SAP ECC technical experience/ S/4HANA experience (data migration experience preferred)
HANA database platform
SAP Data migration cockpit
SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
NetWeaver portal process integration process orchestration
Experience with complex problem-solving strategies. Able to determine the source of a problem and find effective solution(s) through an in-depth evaluation of varying factors. Strong capacity for abstract reasoning and creative visioning.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive client leadership
Ability to work independently and deliver high quality work under time constraints

Master’s Degree
Expertise in:
SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
Mulesoft
Microservices, low code/no code platforms and technologies
Modern data exchange architecture
SAP integration suite
Certifications in agile methods
Knowledge of Army business process integration
Understanding of relevant Army End-to-End (E2E) business processes and knowledge of how those processes work within current Army ERP systems
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams; experience with working complex projects remotely is a plus
