Facilities Coordinator
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI
Opportunity
To coordinate and provide equipment and facility set-up for meetings, conferences, and dedicated events; provide customer service to building patrons; monitor facility uses and ensure conformance with policies and procedures; perform facility maintenance and cleaning; interface with janitorial vendors on daily requirements; perform related work.
Specific Responsibilities
- Interprets event documents and diagrams to decide event needs; prioritizes work sequencing and order of task completion considering current and future meeting room usage and decides equipment to remain; identifies or predicts problems and takes corrective action.
- Provides customer service and communicates with facility users to ensure event needs are met; assesses and resolves customer complaints. Aids customers and visitors with directions and information about events. Uses feedback to report program success and customer satisfaction.
- Performs minor facility and equipment maintenance and cleaning; inspect function and cleanliness of facility; assist in janitorial vendor registration and product needs; coordinates basic equipment repairs, coordinating Campus maintenance groups; performs special projects assigned.
Skills/Requirements
Technology Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- SAP experience desired.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Desirable Work Experience
- Hospitality-related work experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Minimum Job Requirements

Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending, lifting, and pushing of weights of up to 50 pounds or more.
Education And Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a Motor Vehicle Record meeting Kohler Company Guidelines is required.
- Experience: providing customer service; explaining and applying policies and procedures; using tools, equipment, materials, and common practices used in facility preparation including custodial work; setting work priorities; interpreting written oral instructions; outstanding communication.
