Audubon is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in our Canonsburg, PA Office.As a Data Analyst and front-end visualization developer at Audubon, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that empower data-driven decision making across Commercial and Asset Management teams. You will be responsible for the effective presentation and visualizations of data from various sources and provide front-end analytics capabilities. The Data Analyst shall also possess the ability to skillfully communicate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proven experience in working with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) in order to develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports, as well as streamline data processes and workflowsProven experience in the ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) process using SQL and Azure Data Factory (ADF)Advanced proficiency managing and optimizing SQL databases for efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and analysisProven ability to create data models and visualizations to support business decision-makingFamiliarity leveraging SAP systems to integrate and analyze data relevant to manufacturing facilitiesAbility to work within Agile teams, utilizing Azure DevOps for project management and collaborationAbility to grasp the business needs within the Power BI framework and devise a data model to translate raw data intoactionable insightsAbility to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specificationsComfortable presenting data insights and visualizations to stakeholders and business users, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomesAbility to write functional requirements and technical design documentsDevise, implement, and roll out business intelligence solutions utilizing SQL queries, filters, and graphics to comprehensively analyze data at various levels, thereby enhancing performance and offering recommendationsHistory performing in Data Analysis and Data Visualization rolesEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative degree, preferably from an ABET accredited institution.Minimum 5+ years in a technical leadership or contractual role with hands on experience with Data Analysis.Ability to execute and lead multiple projects or large initiatives simultaneously.Ability to generate and maintain a schedule for projects and initiatives.Understands many other aspects of business analytics, data acquisition, and how to optimize presentation for stakeholders.Ability to create or enhance CI/CD builds to release pipelines.Ability to independently find a solution for, or to deal proactively with, work related problems.Ability to comprehend instructions and request clarification as necessary.Ability to lead in a team oriented environment.Excellent grammar, punctuation, and etiquette desired.Willingness to learn new platforms and new technologies.Must be very organized, detail oriented, with the ability to identify outliers quickly.Must be self-motivated, innovative, and adept in championing new initiatives in order to drive those initiatives to finality.Ability to follow and perform work in accordance with company and customer HSE policy.
