Job Summary
The Human Resource Director oversees the administration, coordination, and evaluation of HR functions at the facility level.
This role focuses on effective partnerships with leadership, staff, and vendors, managing organizational change, shaping workplace culture, and promoting programs to foster employee engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities Ensure adequate staffing levels, respond to turnover challenges, and recommend qualified personnel to maintain care and treatment standards. Implement strategies to retain quality staff and manage department turnover within annual goals. Notify HR of resignations promptly to facilitate exit interviews and processing. Evaluate staff qualifications, provide continuous feedback, and complete evaluations (90-day and annual) on time. Develop, counsel, discipline, and terminate staff as necessary while adhering to hospital policies. Ensure timely compliance with job requirements, including licensure, certifications, and mandatory annual health screenings. Identify and address learning needs, provide training in areas of expertise, and pursue personal professional development. Facilitate open communication among staff, identify potential conflicts, and implement timely interventions using appropriate policies and resources. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in Human Resources. Acute care experience in an HR Senior Business Partner or HR Director role. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Strong background in organizational change and workforce engagement strategies. Certifications
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.
