Division Overview:

Salary:

  • We offer competitive pay starting at $29.02.

Hours:

Night shift position on a 2/2/3 scheduled of two days on then two days off then three days on. Then days on and off rotate the following week. This is a 12 hour shift.

 

 

Job Summary: Responsible for Equipment and Maintenance of coolant filtration, washers, wastewater treatment.  This position will require an understanding of basic laboratory testing such as titrations, pH, and conductivity measurements, as well as working with various types of pumps, mixers, chemical feeds, pH controllers and tank level reading equipment.  This role will also require the repair and replacement associated with the wastewater equipment and systems.  Documentation of problems and maintenance of equipment and facility systems are also required.  The position will also provide training for equipment operation and related safety precautions. 

 

 


 

Requirements for these positions would include but not be limited to the following:

  

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) with 5+ years working experience in either a manufacturing setting (high speed operation preferred) or a community wastewater/sewage treatment facility.

 

  • Prior CPO experience is preferred. An Associates/technical degree is preferred or a related vocational/technical certification (wastewater operator’s license, etc.).  

 

  • Strong knowledge of basic chemistry nomenclature including formulas, chemical properties and related knowledge.

 

  • Working hands-on knowledge for conducting basics laboratory testing such as titrations, pH testing and conductivity measurements.

 

  • Proven mechanical skills and the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on pumps and related equipment.

 

  • Effective and proven communication skills working in a team environment.

 

  • Must be able to work twelve (12) hour shifts, both day and evening.

 

  • Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion.
