What you will doAs a Business Development Manager, we would like you to work with Architects, and Engineering firms to help promote the Johnson Controls building automation and controls brands (Metasys, Facility Explorer). Travel will be required when virtual is not a viable option, other duties will include:
How you will do itIdentify and develop resources relevant to business development and sales goals.
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Calling on the engineering community to support their control needs.
Drive specifications for construction projects.
Prepare, attend, and support the team at industry trade shows and events.
What we look forRequired10+ years in the building controls and automation industry
Be a strong communicator and relationship builder at all levels of an organization with the ability to work effectively across functions.
Strong technical ability. Ability to understand and communicate technology and specifications to customers.
Be a proven collaborator.
Self-starter who wants to grow a business.
**Salary range depends on years of industry experience and educational background of the candidate. Salary range is $120,000 - 170,000**
