POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Community Education (Community Ed) is responsible for the development, execution and management of all summer programs, before/after school programs and preschools. These functions primarily include the identification of sites where programs would be lucrative, the development of curriculum, financial planning and analysis, identification of program employees, training and performance management of program employees, and day-to-day oversight of programs.

Essential Functions Statement(s)Development, execution and management of all summer programs, before/after school programs and preschools Analyze company benefits plans and policies; become a key source of knowledge to answer employee questions about company benefits.Identify optimal sites for community education programs, analyze logistics of implementation, and support with any applications or approvals required for operation.Creation of vision, and development of curriculum, for programs.Financial forecasting, budgeting and analysis of programs.Staffing and oversight of local program managers.Training of staff involved with community education programs.Identify and apply for applicable grants.Collaborate regularly in an in-person office environment, as well as travel to school site locations.Other duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university required. Experience: 3 - 5 years applicable experience. Computer Skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite. Ability to learn new software systems to manage program enrollments and financial reporting and analysis.
