Position Overview
The Art Director Home, will work as productive member of an established group of creative thinkers and makers at one of the world's leading lifestyle companies. They will partner with the Agency Creative Director and Head of Brand Creative in the delivery of compelling 360° campaigns for Ralph Lauren Home at the in-house advertising agency. This role is based around the inception, production and execution of marketing and advertising communications that live across multiple platforms and channels globally.
They will collaborate cross-functionally across teams -Marketing, Home Design, Photo Production, Copy, etc. - to develop concepts and assets that are true to the Ralph Lauren brand while being of the moment. This position reports to the Head of Brand Creative and will touch every communication channel including digital & print advertising, cross platform video and social media.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with VP brand creative, project managers and other cross functional departments to create a range of brand content and campaign deliverablesConfidently lead the development and delivery of 360 content campaigns across multiple touch pointsWork with Creative Leadership to refine concept presentation documents, including but not limited to photo and video direction, graphic design, and third-party creative collaboration.Confidently lead a high volume of photo and video productions, interacting with internal and external partners with clarity and professionalismLead on set productionFollow through with content post-production across dynamic deliverablesManage retouching to a high standard and taste levelEnsure that all projects are within deadlines and budget constraintsDevelop consistent visual voice across all materialsStrong photo research and editing ability for utilizing internal archive and outside resources.Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Professional art direction experience, preferably including involvement in luxury Home advertisingExperience in fashion is a plusDeep experience commissioning and working with photography - from initial concept references to final executionStrong interest in the Home décor industry. Sophisticated grasp of elements of home style: architecture, authenticity, regional flavor, etc.Competence working with video - from developing treatments to working with DPs, directors, editors and motion designersStrong Photoshop, InDesign and Keynote skills; working knowledge of other current design applications such as Capture OneSome experience with Ai (Illustrator) and Premiere and After EffectsExcellent written and verbal presentation skillsExcellent understanding of typographySignificant experience guiding post-production flow with retouching team - image mark ups, color accuracy, sensitivity to image mood & emotional impact.Strong attention to detailStrong time management and ability to multitaskAdaptive design eye and skillInterested in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment
