All engineers and researchers are expected to have strong communication skills. They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.

xAI does not have recruiters. Every application is reviewed directly by a technical member of the team. Responsibilities Administer and optimize tools like Okta, Rippling, GSuite, Notion, various cloud services, and Slack to enhance productivity and collaboration across global teams. Manage employee laptops, focusing on top-notch security measures, and implement IT and InfoSec policies to safeguard information assets. Streamline the processes for onboarding new employees and offboarding departing ones, ensuring efficient handling of IT resources and access rights. Perform day-to-day network break/fix operations, with a focus on Layers 1-4 of the OSI model. Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including logical and physical connectivity problems. Support and configure network fundamentals such as routing, switching, IP services. Provide support during technical network projects, including upgrades, deployments, and expansions. Proactively contribute to problem-solving efforts within a collaborative team environment. Preferred Skills & Experience Strong problem-solving abilities with a methodical troubleshooting approach. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Technical project management mindset. Strong team collaboration skills with a self-motivated, proactive attitude. Deep knowledge of enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and IT operations. Familiarity with managing cloud environments, SaaS applications, and endpoint security. Exceptional at diagnosing issues, implementing solutions quickly, and preempting future IT challenges with innovative thinking. Experience in managing cross-functional projects, ensuring IT initiatives support business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments globally and convey complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholder Beginner to intermediate experience with network layer operations (Layers 1-4). Basic to intermediate understanding of TCP/IP, network fundamentals, and network automation techniques. Preferred Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Certifications

Vendor certifications preferred, such as CCNA (Preferred). Familiarity with vendor hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Benefits
