Mountain View Therapy is the leading provider of outpatient and acute care therapy services in Western Colorado. We are a unique group of rehabilitation clinics with a comprehensive range of services for all ages from birth to the elderly including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy; Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation; and Wound and Ostomy Care.About The Career:
The primary function of the Occupational Therapist is to perform evaluations, to plan, implement and modify treatment programs; to direct and supervise physical therapy services; to participate in discharge planning; to pursue professional growth; assist with educational duties and perform administrative and other duties as required. Must comply with all aspects of the Colorado Occupational Therapy Act in providing occupational therapy services..All About You :
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Must be graduate of Occupational Therapy program accredited by the A.O.T.A. and prove successful completion of Occupational Therapy Registration Exam. Must hold current licensure by State of Colorado as an O.T.R. BLS Certification required. Job knowledge requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and understanding of management practices. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally, and non-verbally, in a clear, concise manner. Administrative and philosophical compatibility with Montrose Regional Health. Interpersonal skills and sound judgment necessary to communicate with a wide variety of persons including patients.The ability to make appropriate decisions based on fact and knowledge is required. The ability to perform detailed work required. The ability to work harmoniously with employees required. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and show good judgment. The ability to make decisions under pressure and deadlines required.What We Offer:
