Resilience Lab is modernizing how clinicians work together towards our mission: to provide broad and affordable access to quality mental health care. Our diverse team of over 250 clinicians offers psychiatry and therapy services while enjoying flexible schedules and working remotely. We provide billing and administrative support, so our clinicians can focus on their clients. Our clinically-led Resilience Institute provides a lifelong learning curriculum via workshops, intensives, and learning pods that enable best-in-class outcomes-participation is completely free.
Resilience Lab clients receive psychiatric care through Options MD, which is a team of psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs). Our Options MD team works closely with our therapists to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of clients, including those experiencing serious mental illness (SMI).
Collaboration is central to the Resilience Methodology. Our therapists serve as the coordinating lead among providers, ensuring seamless integration of care. The therapy and psychiatry teams work closely together on referrals, with our psychiatry team monitoring medication effects. Our therapists evaluate intervention outcomes as part of weekly therapy sessions.
We are expanding nationally and looking for compassionate, expert PMHNPs licensed in New York to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This is a fully remote or hybrid (you pick) outpatient clinical role, with the option to work full-time or part-time.
RequirementsLicensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a psychiatric certification (PMHNP) in NYActive DEA license in NYEligibility and willingness to be licensed in multiple statesExperience in psychiatry, including time spent in an academic or research-oriented setting, is strongly preferredExpertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including SMIStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a virtual environmentPassion for leveraging the latest research and technologies to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based careExcitement to collaborate with other clinical and non-clinical team members to provide outstanding careMotivated to work within a fast-paced startup environmentComfortable using digital tools and EHR systems; experience with data-driven care models or clinical algorithms is a plus.Prior experience in telepsychiatry or remote care is preferred.Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive psychiatric care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medication for clients with a range of psychiatric disorders, including SMI and treatment-resistant conditions.Deliver telepsychiatry services: Use our advanced telehealth platform to provide virtual psychiatric consultations, follow-ups, and medication management to clients.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, data scientists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, data-driven care.Utilize technology for patient care: Leverage digital health tools, including evidence-based algorithms and electronic health records (EHR), to enhance treatment plans and monitor patient progress.Engage in ongoing education and research: Stay current with psychiatric guidelines, emerging treatments, and digital health innovations. Contribute to quality improvement projects, research initiatives, or clinical trials when appropriate.Ensure compliance and documentation: Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.Patient education and support: Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.Benefits
